Through pressure of my friends, I feel obligated to actually use this thing.  This is my maiden entry...  I am also in the process of putting my kiddos to bed, so it may not be very long.  Broc has been out of town with some pastors from church for the last 24 hours and now he's at the church helping out with the handicapped group and tomorrow he's doing habit for humanity.  Yikes.  Jerrod has a flag football game tomorrow and Kristin has both a cheerleading game and a softball game.  Jerrod has no patience waiting at Kristin's games; I hope he makes it.  Well, again, first entry, not very exciting.  I will work on next time including some philosophy and ingenious insights on life. Well, maybe just a photo!

Two words will do for this entry - Go Seahawks!  Well, let's add two words that make the heart of every Seahawks fan across this nation swell with pride - Super Bowl.  So, together we have four of the sweetest sounding words in the English language - Go Seahawks - Super Bowl.

Feb. 5, 2006 is a date that will live forever!

It has been awesome hearing from all of the Tulsa faithful.  I (Broc) am going to be in Tulsa on the 29th and 30th of this month.  I am performing Dean Hidy's sister's wedding.  I think I'm going to crash at Eric Baker's place.  I would love to see anyone and everyone.   I won't have tons of time but maybe we could get a group together for a small amount of time.

Spread the word that I'll be around on those dates, and just as importantly, give a hoot - don't pollute!

We are experiencing our first Texas winter storm today!  Schools have been cancelled all over the Metroplex, except Frisco - so Kristin still has to go to school today (2 hours late though).

Today is a big day for our family because it is Hailey's 3rd birthday!  She is having a big party on Saturday with friends from church - it should be big time.  Can you believe that Hailey is already 3?

I'm sure like me, most of you were rejoicing over the Seahawks huge Monday night victory in which they beat the Philadelphia Eages 42-0.  The Seahawks are finally having a big season.  In fact, this is their best regular season record since 1984.  They have already clinched a playoff birth (3 years in a row) and have won their division.  Go Seahawks!!!

Adios from Texas!

Hello!  Jennifer Helm is here showing me how to use this dumb xanga site thing.  Apparently, there have been people trying to contact us via xanga, and I (well, mainly Alicia) have been a jerk and not responding.  Why?  I just found out our password like two minutes ago.

Hopefully, I can now be a fully licensed particpant in this thing and will now be a fully contributing member of the world wide web.

More to come shortly, I hope, from the state of Texas.

Broc
